Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! Steve and I did. New Years Eve we went out with Sgt Morgan and his wife, Ashley, and Gunnery Sgt ("Gunny") to a bar to see a country band play. Ashley and I were sad there was no room for line dancing. We were even more sad when one of the band members told us there aren't anymore places in the Birmingham area to even go line dancing. :-(
I am officially (to Social Security) a Mrs. and got my name changed! I went to the Social Security office last week and thinking I would have to wait all day, I got there at about 8:45 am, 15 mins after they opened. I walked in, checked in, sat down, my number was called, and I walked out of the building at approximately 9:07 am. Yes, it took me less than 30 mins to take care of business at Social Security! Woo hoo! Since I was in downtown Birmingham I decided to go check out a year-round farmers market not too far away. I drove over there and began noticing I was in a very rough area of town and pulled into the driveway of the market, turned around and drove home. I didn't even stop the car, lol.
Anyone wanna send me some warm weather and some in N out? Air mail, Fed Ex, Next Day Air, please. :-)
It's only in the upper 20's today, and we aren't going to see the warmer side of 40 degrees for at least a week.

Wow Hilary, it must be rough out there. I know it was rough for me today. It was like 75 degrees here! Just warm enough to go get an in n out shake to cool down. :) I'm just kidding. It's been really weird here weather wise. But I'm sure u would take it over the 20s! I miss u guys! I'll call u later. :) love ya!

  2. Hilary, isn't it sad that 40 degrees feels amazing now, to the point where you can even walk outside without a sweater, and not be that cold? 40 feels like 65 to me now..

Social Security took me about 2 to 3 hours to get my name changed, but that was when CA allowed same sex marriages, so there were lots of men taking each other's last names, and then lots of people who don't speak english doing who knows what?

As far as in-n-out goes.. can't help you with that.. think anyone would want to help me get some Del Taco? There used to be one in Wisconsin, but I didn't see it when we drove to Minnesota last month.

Miss you! If we don't have a middle of the way rendezvous soon (like in the next 2 or 3 weeks), it's going to have to wait till after Nathan Jr is born... doctor told me I can't travel far from home anymore.
